RESPITE / S.T.A options
What is Respite or S.T.A?
The NDIS funds Respite or Short Term Accommodation (STA) for participants to be away from home for a short period of time (up to 14 days). This allows the participant & their primary carers to have a break from the usual stresses of daily life. Respite & STA costs can be taken from your core funding.
We specialise in amazing adventures on respite -
4WDing, land based fishing, deep sea fishing, cray fishing, animal therapy, horse riding, whale watching & general sight seeing.
We have itineraries suited to all interests & needs!

Location & Accommodation?
We have over 30 properties all over WA to suit your destination requests! We have local properties or if you choose to venture out of Perth we can house you anywhere below!
North: Broome, Exmouth, Coral Bay,
Shark Bay, Kalbarri, Geraldton, Jurien Bay
South: Busselton, Dunsborough, Yallingup, Margaret River, Pemberton, Denmark, Albany, Esperance, Bremer Bay
Some of these properties have full disability access features including ramps, handrails & seats in showers & bathrooms.

Land Based Fishing
Whether you're a beginner or an expert - we can take you out fishing, teach you how to fish & even do all the rigging & baiting for you. We can almost guarantee you'll catch a fish with us every time we go out!
We are the experts for land based, river & beach fishing experiences & know all the secret spots!

4WDing
As people who love our 4WDing we have multiple kitted out 4WDs! We include these into our respite trips FREE OF CHARGE! We always keep SAFETY in mind when 4WDing.
Not everyone is into 4WDing! You can also take a respite trip in our wheelchair accessible van!

Deep Sea Fishing
We can take you deep sea fishing on our deep sea fishing vessel & you can keep the fish you catch! Your support worker can assist you with all the rigging & baiting if you're unable to & we can also teach you all about the correct ways to catch fish!
Please note: This option is only available if you can safely access the fishing vessel & is only available in some destinations.

Whale Watching
We can get you up close & personal with some amazing whales - it's magical observing these creatures in real life & if you're lucky you might see a whale breach!
This is a wheelchair accessible option in some destinations.

Horse Riding
We have horses, experienced trainers & the available land to teach you how to ride a horse and you can learn how to bond with & instruct our beautiful creatures.
Please note: This option is only available if you can safely mount & dismount a horse & is only available in some destinations.

Cray Fishing
We provide cray fishing experiences going out to sea on our boat to retrieve cray fishing pots & you can keep the crayfish to cook up for some amazing fresh seafood!
Please note: This option is only available if you can safely access the fishing vessel & is only available in some destinations. Please advise us of any allergies prior to booking.

Animal Therapy
At our exclusive family-owned property, we offer Animal Therapy experiences in Walpole, WA.
Animal therapy is fantastic for mental health, psychosocial disabilities, reducing stress & anxiety or just animal lovers!
Our farm comes with full disability access accommodation, ramps into the property & handrails on toilets & showers.
Animals provided: horses, shetland ponies, miniature goats, llamas, sheep, goats, cows & pigs.

Transport Options
If you are wheelchair bound or not interested or able to part-take in the 4WDing or fishing, rest assured your disability is no barrier to us providing you with the best itineraries possible.
We will transport you in our wheelchair accessible van & provide you a 24/7 support worker to ensure you have the best respite!

Capacity Building
We also invite capacity building participants to join our services & we can provide mentorship, skill development, general life skills, health & fitness routines, DIY projects – hands on, general car servicing & maintenance, general house & garden maintenance skills, cooking lessons – these options can be mixed in with our other respite options!
We have a Boys 2 Men program that focuses on disadvantaged young men & we provide mentorship & a male role model in their lives to fill the gaps & provide some firm & fair leadership.
